| Electric power industry as an important basic industry of national economy, energy intensive and highly polluting industries,is one of the important sources of pollutants,the power industry and the contradictions between resources and environment worsening,become the key areas of our country’s implementation of energy conservation and emissions reduction. Objective and accurate evaluation of the power industry’s carbon emissions performance,to improve the level of electrical carbon emissions performance level, accelerate the social responsibility,the construction of the electric power industry plays an important role in promoting "beautiful China".For the current China’s carbon emissions performance of the electric power industry accurate judgment is the precondition of the right decisions, and the environmental Malmquist DEA technology carbon performance index, comparing to the regional difference and its spatial correlation analysis,finally the likely impact on the factors are analyzed. Results show that in the overall level of carbon dioxide emissions and static performance of the electric power industry is low,the emission reduction potential is bigger,and from the global correlation is obvious spatial correlation,provincial carbon emissions performance of the electric power industry in China from the east coast to the west presented the trend from high to low,the four large regional power carbon emissions performance are experienced beginning to deteriorate into a gradual improvement since 2007,from regional level: eastern,northeast electric power industry carbon emissions performance improvements and in the western region is the worsening trend. East and northeast performance improvement due to technical progress and technical efficiency to promote role,the performance deterioration in the western region is due to his poor technology retrogression and technical efficiency,as well as the influence of the performance degradation in the central region are mainly caused by the deterioration of technical efficiency. From the national level,level of opening to the outside world and the unit capacity utilization,energy prices index,environmental regulation, urbanization level,the structure of the endowment and negatively correlated with carbon emissions performance; From regional level,the only variable unit capacity utilization, energy price index has significant negative effects,environmental regulation effect on the four regions were not significant, while the remaining variables with the result of the influence of the three regions. |
