Environmental disaster is refers to the h uman in the process of reforming the naturalenvironment, human activities over the bearing capacity of natural environment, the naturalenvironment structure imbalance, repair function was damaged, has not been able to providevaluable services to human beings, instead of threatening human survival and development,and the phenomenon of damage. Environmental disasters are caused by natural factors andhuman factors, with both nature and social attribute. This article from the perspective ofcomprehensive analyzing the various environmental disasters of Inner Mongolia.Border area, Inner Mongolia autonomous region is located in the north of our country inthe higher ground, an average elevation of1000m, is a plateau landform areas. In the vastprairie, patterns in large range, and various types of climate and uneven distribution of waterresource and fragile ecological environment, is one of China’s environmental disasters,seriously hindered the economic development of Inner Mongolia and the sustainable utilizationof Marine environment. So, study the significance of environmental disaster in Inner Mongoliais very important. In this paper from the aspects of natural factors and human activities together,in the Inner Mongolia complex natural environment and weak social economic basis, from theagricultural environment disaster, geological environment disasters, ecological degradation,environmental disasters and emergency type four aspects to respectively in this paper, theenvironmental disaster for a wide variety of hazards, characteristics and distribution of InnerMongolia region. Through the analysis of Inner Mongolia environmental disaster, all of themare frequent disasters, sudden strong, type diversity, and mainly caused by human factors;Disasters uneven distribution of time and space, the space distribution is widespread, disasterheavier and harmful influence area is large, long duration; Concurrent disasters contactchanges, a variety of disasters, the social system of hazard-affected ability; Is the root cause ofenvironmental disaster in Inner Mongolia are analyzed, destroy the ecological environment,lead to a vicious circle environmental disasters; Finally, through access to relevant dataproposed the rationalization proposal of disaster prevention and mitigation in Inner Mongolia.
