The Research Of Environmental Disasters In Liaoning Province

Environmental disaster is a phenomenon with dual attributes of nature and society caused by catastrophic collapse of structure together with function of natural environment, partly or complete loss of function serving human beings, environmental contamination along with damage to ecology and environment beyond the natural environmental bearing capacity and the self-adjustment ability, against the natural environment law of development in the exploitation, transformation and interaction with nature, giving rise to serious casualty. In early stage disaster research focuses on some aspect, the research on various environmental disasters in liaoning province is analyzed comprehensively.Located in eastern part of mid-latitude region in our country,Liaoning province is characterized by hills covering a large part of land,complicated climates of kinds and unbalanced distribution of water resources. Fragile geographical environment make it a disaster-stricken area, constraining sustainable development of economy, society and environment, so the study has tremendous significance in recognization of people's living environment and disaster prevention and mitigation. Based on the human activities and study on environment of nature and social economy, cause, character and distribution of disaster are elaborated separately from perspectives of atmosphere, water, soil, ecological degradation, inducible geological disaster and global change. Conclusion are drawn from analysis that Liaoning Province has disasters of kinds with constant change, extensive distribution and frequent occurrence and that disaster exerts far-reaching influence on human beings as a result of poor bearing capacity of society. As a main reason for environmental disaster, Human error and types of environmental disaster resulting from it are analyzed. Finally, much work for disaster prevention and mitigation is listed through the data access and author's rational advice is proposed.
