Currently cellular automata model has become an important land-use cover changemethod. But many of the research results are more concentrated in the macroscopic study ofland-use change impact factor. The studies of rules among different land-use types are veryrare. Therefore this paper proposed a cellular automata model based on mulit-target land-usecompetition to simulate the land-use and land-cover change in Dalian City EconomicDevelopment Zone Land from1998to2024. The results show that:1) this model had highsimulation accuracies, the kappa coefficients of three different types urban are, agriculturalarea and undeveloped area were0.703,0.658and0.639.2) the simulation areas of threedifferent land-use types were83.78%,80.12%and79.65%.3) the model proposed in thispaper show a basic method to study the interactions among different land-use types, whichcould be used to improve the dynamics discovery of land-use and land-cover change.
