Performance Management informs every aspect of the human resource management, which is also the one of forceful methods of modern enterprise management. Lanzhou Baiyun Department Store is one of the Gansu’s Medium Enterprises. The employee performance appraisal system in Lanzhou Biyun Department Store is unscientific and unreasonable in the actual operation of the process of the enterprise. There is no incentive effect and bad for the development of employee and enterprise. This paper study on performance appraisal system of Lanzhou Baiyun Department Store, finding out the existing problems and put forward the solution strategy, and the introduction of the plan evaluation system based on KPI, re-design of performance evaluation indicators, and put forward scientific and reasonable performance appraisal improvement scheme.Firstly, the paper analyzes the present situation and problems of Lanzhou Lanzhou Baiyun Department Store performance appraisal system on the basis of theories. The problems of Lanzhou Lanzhou Baiyun Department Store embodied in the performance appraisal target and strategy is not clear; the implementation of performance and communication is not in place; the lack of performance feedback, employee participation is not enough; the evaluation results have not been fully utilized etc..Secondly, the paper puts forward the improvement design Lanzhou Baiyun Department Store staff performance appraisal system. At present, Lanzhou Baiyun Department Store now perform many problems existing in the performance assessment, based on the full investigation, combined with the actual situation of the unit, relevant industry experience, improve and optimize the unit’s professional staff performance appraisal system. A clear focus on the design of performance appraisal index system, including the subject and scope of assessment, key performance indicators and standards, followed by the design of performance appraisal cycle and process, performance evaluation of communication and motivation.Finally, the paper puts forward that the implementation of safeguard measures and improvement of Lanzhou Baiyun Department Store performance appraisal system. It includes the full support, ideological guarantee, the establishment of institutions, organizational security; improve the management, security mechanism, serious assessment and the implementation of security.In conclusion, through research in the existing staff performance appraisal system of Lanzhou Baiyun mansion, this paper puts forward a new set of a feasible employee performance appraisal system, but also provides reference for other similar companies.
