Daqing Oil And Gas Industry Development Strategy

In the recent years, oil and gas resources, acting as the crucially in dispensibleresources for the economic construction of various countries in the world, haveundergone rising shares in the gross resource consumption year by year, accompaniedby the changing supply-demand structure of resources. The development of the oil andgas industry plays an important role in the constant provision of resources. Daqing oilfield, the biggest oil field in China, boasts its abundant resources of oil and natural gas,by which it enjoys a broad development prospect with strong potential. This paper,based on the theories of industrial economics, sustainable development and circulareconomy, conducts a comprehensive and systematic analysis on the industrialdevelopment strategy of Daqing oil field, by integrating normative analysis andempirical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis as well as inductiveanalysis and deductive analysis. At first, this paper conducts a quantitative analysis onthe relationship between resource consumption and economic growth; secondly, basedon the elaboration on the current status and existing problems of the development of oiland gas industry in Daqing, this paper conducts a statistical analysis on thecoordinative development of the gas and oil industry of Daqing, concluding with thefactors restricting the development of gas and oil industry as well as its potential. Inconclusion, this paper proposes the countermeasures for the existing problems in thedevelopment process of the oil and gas industry in Daqing; and constructs thedevelopment strategy system of oil and gas industry in Daqing.
