With the development of society and economy, people require higher demand forproducts.As a technology-intensive industry, the cost of automotive electronics in thevehicle is becoming more and more. Who has mastered the technology will occupy a placein the market, major companies are taking actively action into research and developmentinvestment and joint research. Patents as an effective way to evaluate technology throughpatent analysis people can understand technology development status and forecastingtechnology trends for guidance of business decisions.This paper introduces the patent map definition, classification and role; definestechnology roadmap, divides its type and the process; definition and role of technologyforecasting, above is the theoretical support of this article. And on the basis of describingthe development of China automotive electronics, combining the action Jilin Province took,concluding the main advantages and disadvantages of future development in Jilin Province.The core part of this paper is the analyze of patent data from1985and2012, and analyzeeach parts including the patent distribution, the patent applicant distribution and the mainaspect of IPC classification analysis and main technology distribution. On the basis ofpatent data, market demand analysis, industry target analysis, technical barriers analysisas the technology roadmap, to analysis by route, picture the technology roadmap basedon data in Jilin Province. In the end of this article, providing technology roadmap fromthe government, industry and enterprise, and summarizes the conclusion and made theprospect of post-study.
