With the development of the industrial revolution, mankind has entered theinformation age, information has become the first driving force of economicdevelopment. The rapid development of information technology, has brought theinfinite opportunity and challenge to the information industry, but China’s currentoverall level of software industry is low, the management level is low, the overall lackof competitiveness. A good human resources management system is an importantfactor of core competence for the modern enterprise, especially software developmentknowledge intensive enterprises, the performance appraisal system is the core ofenterprise human resources management. Therefore, the establishment and operationof scientific performance management system in accordance with the actual situationof the enterprise is the effective way to improve the core competitiveness of softwareenterprises. But in actual operation process, the software enterprise’s performanceappraisal system is often a mere formality, or apply mechanically, or is a simplemachine, the actual effect is not just as one wishes. The research object of this paperRvid company is a typical small and medium-sized software enterprises,it attachimportance to performance management, but the overall design is not science, thereare many defects, leading to serious brain drain, restricted the development ofenterprises.This paper aims to redesign through research, analysis, and to improve theperformance appraisal system of software R&D personnel of Rvid company.Itenhances the core competitiveness of enterprises and promotes the furtherdevelopment of enterprises.This paper hoped to provide some reference in two aspects of theory andpractice,and it is useful for the development of middle and small software companiesin china.
