Knowledge management has become one of important measures for innovative enterprise to improve their innovation ability and increase competitive power now. Innovation ability of enterprise reflected in their ability of development of new product and technique, that is to say, a high-efficiency R&D team is key factor to improve company’s innovation ability. Knowledge management includes management of knowledge production, communication, accumulation and application. And lifecycle of R&D team is a process of knowledge production to application. Therefore, Knowledge management run through all lifecycle of R&D team and play significant role in construction of R&D team.The purpose of the paper is to provide fundamental basis for construction of R&D team by research knowledge management, analysis R&D team’s feature, explore the necessity of knowledge management in construction of R&D team and according to the motivation theories. Based on the analyzing the present situation of R&D team of company A and nailing down the essence of R&D team, this article proposes its research frame. This article gives the countermeasure suggestion of A company’s R&D team construction to dissolve the questions facing the R&D team and promote R&D team growing healthily.The solution of A medical device company R&D team building based on KM, which is accord with the current situation of the development of R&D team needs and guarantee the mechanism of its stable and healthy development, can improve the cohesion, fighting capacity of R&D team and increase the ability of solving the problems.
