| With the full opening of electric power engineering market, the multi-business electric power enterprises are under great pressure for reform. Meanwhile, directly under the impact of gradually developed domestic and overseas markets and the project bidding system, the multi-business electric power enterprises and group companies run into dilemma of feeble power system reform measures, vehement market competition and reduced business sources. The pattern that the state-owned enterprises monopolize local electric power industry has been broken, causing that the multi-business power enterprises which previously attached to the state-owned power enterprises are confronted with tremendous challenges. In order to stabilize the camp of the multi-business power enterprises and maintain the core competitiveness of the original industry, significant changes in strategic management are inevitable.This thesis at first introduces the research topic from the research background and significance, expounds the purpose of the research and the issues to be solved, then expounds the current situations of Chinese multi-business power enterprises and existing issues. In order to make a thorough analysis of the macro and micro factors that impact on the multi-business power enterprise, this research is based on the Oho Group of A City, provides an actual research object for the analysis of the strategic reform of multi-business power enterprises. Then, this thesis analyzes the strategic management of Oho Group, not only by SWOT analysis, but by analyzing the current external environment and its own internal and external conditions, further discloses the advantages and disadvantages of Oho Group in the course of development. In combination with the strategic management methods, it provides Oho Group from a macro perspective with theoretical support for its change of development strategy in the future.Finally this thesis puts forward feasible suggestions for the development strategies of multi-business power enterprises under the power system reform referring to Oho Group’s strategic management and successful experience.
