In the21st century, more and more intense competition among enterprises, it is not only in the technology, resources and scale of the competition, but more importantly on the talent competition. Therefore, human resource management is one of the core work of the modern enterprise. The human resources performance management is one of the most important areas, many companies have now been referred to a very important position, work is also one of the senior managers focus. As it relates to the overall performance of the enterprise is an important part of modern enterprise management, it is for improving core competitiveness of enterprises, and promote long-term development of enterprises play a decisive role.Since the reform and opening up, the development of China’s insurance industry has made remarkable achievements. By the WTO agreement, the five-year transitional period, China’s insurance market will be fully open. Now five-year transitional period has expired, and foreign insurance companies to compete on an equal status, in this case, China’s national insurance industry is facing increasingly tough competitive environment. Internal and external pressures are urgent requirements of China’s insurance companies should continue to strengthen and improve their own management, efforts to improve business performance, enhance core competitiveness. So, how to establish and improve the performance management system to improve performance management, to become China’s insurance companies have to pay more attention to the problem.Based on the performance management theory, methods of literature research and case combination, is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction to the paper. Introduces the research background, significance and research methods and other related content. The second part focuses on the performance management theories, concepts and major methodological tools. The third part introduces the development history of China’s property insurance market conditions, Anhui Branch of Ping An Insurance overview, the current status of performance management issues and causes. The fourth part on the basis of the above work, we propose a safe company to build a new performance management system, and then focuses on the construction of peace and the company’s performance appraisal system planning, building performance improvement and communication systems and the use of performance results. The fifth part is the effectiveness of the introduction and implementation of performance management system deficiencies as well as initiatives for improving the inadequacies.This article features and innovations that draw some mature experience and practice of performance management research at home and abroad, combined with case studies, according to the insurance company in the performance management process problems to analyze and propose concrete solutions and for in the recommendations. In this paper, a more comprehensive and systematic, performance management of insurance companies and is an attempt to break through, other insurance companies on the domestic performance management has certain reference. Meanwhile, Ping An Insurance Anhui Branch is currently in the "new new five-year journey," the process of development, performance management research itself is a very necessary thing.
