Statistical Analysis Of The Quality Of China’s Economic Growth

Economic growth consists of the quantity of economic growth and the quality of economic growth.The former reflects the pace of economic growth,and the latter reflects the advantages and disadvantages of economic growth.In recent years,more and more negative issues happened with the rapid economic growth,China’s economy has fallen into a high input, high pollution,low efficience and welfare dilemma.As quality of economic growth has profound impact on economic,social, environment and other aspects,so how to improve quality of economic growth has become the key problem of our country.This paper measured and analyzed level of the quality of China’s economic growth,using statistical method,in order to figure out the problems of China’s economic development.Firstly, this paper elaborated background and significance of the research,and comprehensively summarized the existing relevant literature both at home and abroad;On this basis,the paper introduced ideas and framework of the research,and proposed innovations and inadequacies.Secondly,the paper outlined the practice of China’s economic growth,and then through analysis of performance and cost of our country’s economic growth, this paper reflected the practice and put forward quality problem;On this basis, the paper clearly defined the connotation of economic growth quality,separately from the effectiveness, coordination,stability,innovation,sustainability and sharing aspects,and introduced how to measure the quality of economic growth.Thirdly,the paper analyzed the basic influential factors through time series analysis and international comparative analysis.The paper analyzed the effectiveness of China’s economic growth from aspects as total factor productivity,labor productivity and capital productivity;And then the coordination from four aspects as industrial structure,urban and rural structure,demand structure and trade structure;And the stability from aspects as output deviation,unemployment rate,inflation and influence mechanism between the three;And the innovation from two aspects as inputs and outputs;And the sustainability from two aspects as efficiency of resource,environmental pollution and administer;And the sharing aspect from standard of living,gap between urban and rural,gap between different areas and distribution of national income.Fourthly,on the basis of the connotation,the paper built the index of quality of economic growth containing6indexes of different aspect and34basic indexes,and used mean value treatment as the dimensionless method and principal component analysis that using covariance matrix as input variables to measure the index of quality of China’s economic growth from1991to2011.And then the paper analyzed the influencing factors of quality of China’s economic growth,according to the results of the measurement of the quality level.The conclusion showed that quality of China’s economic growth has been significantly improved,but improvement of different aspects did not keep pace with each other.Moreover,the mode of China’s economic growth has not been fundamentally changed,and the growth is still faced with issues as inefficient investment,unreasonable demand structure,obvious binary feature, unstable economy,inefficient use of energy, environmental constraints, growing gap between urban and rural,and unreasonable distribution,and so on.So the economic growth is not yet of high quality.Finally,the paper proposed some strong operational countermeasures and suggestions against main problems of China’s economic growth quality,hoping to provide important reference for the government to make policy, so as to improve quality of China’s economic growth more effectively and more pertinently.
