Food counts for people’s health and the quality of life, and is of great value to each of thevital interests of consumers, and it is a major issue for the benefit of the people’s livelihood,which is related to a country’s stability and unity. In recent years, the national food safetyincidents occur very often,"poison bean sprouts","poison leek","Clenbuterol","poison milkpowder" and so on. Shouguang is famous for “Vegetable Town”, and Municipal PartyCommittee, and Municipal Government pay much attention on the quality and safety ofShouguang vegetable products. As a result, not only the vegetable quality but also the testingsystem of vegetables improved a lot, But there still exists many problems in vegetablecultivation, processing and sales process, for example, the supervision and managementsystem is not perfect, examination and supervision system operability is poor, and medicalpollution. All these put limits on the development of vegetable safety. In order to advanceShouguang vegetable safety, ensure people’s health, promote the sustainable development offarmers’ income and Shouguang vegetable industry, this paper makes a systematic study onthe supervision system of quality and safety of vegetables in Shouguang. I write this papertwith a view to provide some theory basis for Shouguang vegetable quality safety and nationalfood safety supervision.This paper includes six parts. The first chapter is the introduction, it talks about theresearch content, purpose and significance and also the related status and researching methodson this topic.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of supply chain from the perspective ofShouguang vegetable quality and safety supervision. It mainly introduced the related conceptof vegetable quality and safety supervision.The third chapter is about the current situation of Shouguang vegetable industrydevelopment,a main introduction of Shouguang and the problems exists in the process ofproducing and selling.The fourth chapter talks about the situation of Shouguang vegetable quality and safetysupervision and its existing problems,such as regulatory organization system problems, technical problems existing in the supervision of detection, sales in vegetable production,processing and transportation marketing problems.In the fifth chapter, it tres to get some countermeasures of Shouguang vegetable qualityand safety supervision, including further improvement on the quality and safety supervisionsystem. For example, the acceptation on agricultural standards and rules of operation for theproduction technology of agriculture, increase on the remediation efforts, strengthening thequality inspection of agricultural products, strengthening market supervision, theimplementation of brand strategy of agricultural products. In this way, it can providetheoretical support for construction quality and safety supervision system vegetables inshouguang.The sixth chapter is the conclusion. It makes a conclusion on Supply Chain-Based Studyon Shouguang Vegetable Quality and Safety Supervision.As the pillar industries of agriculture in Shouguang City, the quality and safety ofvegetable products is the priority in development of vegetable industry. Improvement on thequality and safety supervision system, standard operating procedures, strict quality controlsystem, vegetable quality safety traceability system and corresponding awareness and qualitylevel will provide guarantee for the quality and safety of Shouguang vegetable products. Weshould accelerate the development of high-quality agricultural products base, value brandstrategy, Accelerate the establishment of a mechanism of produce quality traceability and theestablishment of a vegetable after-sale security risk early warning mechanism and majoraccident emergency disposal. We also should value people’s supervision on this issue.
