Equipment manufacturing industry is the nation’s strategic industry. It is responsible for providing technological equipment and technology publishing for the national economy and the strategic need. The comprehensive evaluation of supporting capacity of equipment manufacturing is based on the theory foundation about industry and comprehensive evaluation, combined with the characteristics of the equipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang, constructs comprehensive evaluation indexes of supporting industry of the equipment manufacturing in Shenyang, researches the comprehensive evaluation of the current situation of the supporting industry of the equipment manufacturing industry, promotes the establishment of the industrial clusters of the equipment manufacturing, it is development direction of the supporting industry about the equipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang.First, this paper reviewed related theory about equipment manufacturing industry and the supporting industry, the comprehensive evaluation; Second, based on the existing research, construct the equipment manufacturing supporting industry comprehensive evaluation index system in Shenyang, improve the original self-determination comprehensive evaluation method, and use it to evaluate the nine supporting industry in Shenyang, and according to the results, put forward some policy suggestions about the supporting industry development of equipment manufacturing industry, further enrich the comprehensive evaluation system about equipment manufacturing supporting industry.
