In the era of knowledge economy, as the human capital of enterprise, knowledgeworkers are the core competitiveness of enterprises. They control the accumulation anduse of corporate knowledge, their work efficiency and performance directly impact on theperformance of the business organization and decide enterprises direction and prospects ofdevelopment,therefore, how to explore a more targeted, more effective performancemanagement in the light of characteristics of knowledge workers and different needs tostimulate their working enthusiasm of improving the job performance has become theemphasis of the modern enterprise management, but also become the key for modernenterprises to enhance their performance.Based on this purpose, this paper reviewed domestic and foreign knowledge workersperformance management, and then defined knowledge workers and analyzed theircharacteristics, the connotation of a knowledge workers performance management, thecontent of knowledge workers performance management and knowledge workersperformance impact factors. The three elements of the knowledge workers performancemanagement: knowledge workers performance, knowledge workers performanceevaluation, knowledge workers performance improvement were analyzed particularly.Firstly, set knowledge workers performance objectives, and then focus on building aknowledge workers performance evaluation system, and how to use the analytic hierarchyprocess to determine the weight of the performance evaluation indicators, and finallypropose to enhance the knowledge workers performance management strategy. Alsoproposed build safeguards implementation of performance management enterprisesoftware environment for enterprises to be able to lay the foundation for effectiveperformance management of knowledge workers.In this paper, a method of combining theory and practice was used to defineknowledge workers and systematically analyze the features of knowledge workers and themeaning of performance management. Then adopt questionnaire survey method to lookinto the status of knowledge workers performance management. Finally summarize themain factors affecting the performance of knowledge workers. Utilize KPI principles andthe balanced scorecard tool to determine the main factors affecting the performanceevaluation of knowledge worker. Using analytic hierarchy process for knowledge workersperformance evaluation weight index set weights, the final analysis weights judge theperformance appraisal indicators proposed to enhance knowledge workers performance management strategy. Finally, a suggestion was made that strengthening the constructionof soft environment such as enterprise performance culture, the modern enterprisemanagement system to protect the effective implementation of Enterprise PerformanceManagement.
