From the 80's in 20 centuries, with the fast development of the informationization technique in possession of the characteristic of digital and network, it is already a generally accepted fact that knowledge has become an important or main factor in the economic development. The key of success of the enterprise competition does not lie in the amount that enterprise controls a natural resources, but lie in the amount and quality of intelligence resources that enterprise own.The knowledge workers who gathers knowledge, information, science and technology in the integral whole is subjected to more and more concern and value, they are see by numerous enterprises most preciously constitute part in the intelligence capital, is an economic prosperous key nowadays.It is the key to decide the enterprise enterprise come to the top whether enterprise can efficiently manage and make full use of knowledge workers who's this strategic resources.Researching management and perfmance of knowledge workers, not only have important theories value, but also have very strong realistic meaning.Considering approval test as a import link of perfmance management, so in this essay the author emphasisly researches the approval test method with the knowledge workers of GG telecommunication company.The purpose of the research of the essay:Take knowledge workers of GG telecommunication company as the subject of the research,systematically define knowledge worker,analysis different types and characteristics. Directed by perfmance manager theory, according to the standpoint of "the perfmance be to be worth", put forward in a knowledge economy era, knowledge workers can bring out correspond-value for the employee, the member of the team, the enterprise and the customer, namely ability is system creation correspond of value.And value creation, especially is satisfy customer's need and carry on of worth creation is the business enterprise can exist with development of root is also the business enterprise be worth and the employee is worth a realization of premise.so,as for the performance appraisal of knowledge workers,it should be carried out in three respects:the result index based on visible working output,the behavior index based on the organization surroundings,and the knowledge accumulation index based on the future performance ability.Based on the research of perfmace management index assortment,achievement,weight value of factors method si adopted achieve testing indexes from three types of educated employees of GG telecommunication company in accordance with their characteristics and the weight value of every index is also fixed using this method.Another research focus of this chapter is select different PM testing method for different type of intellectual workers:testing for marketing oriented intellectual workers which bases on target managerment systme;testing for technology R&D oriented program system;test for functional management oriented intellectual workers which bases on 360 degree testing.Finally, writer raises several suggestions to the guarantee measure whitch has been successfully put to use by GG telecommunication company.
