No’wadays, Chinas banking has undergone historic changes. In accordance with the longterm business objective, adopting a reasonable performance evaluation system it is good fordeveloping the banks’ quantiifable decision model,showing the true achievements of everydepartment,establishing a appropriate incentive system, exploring all parts of sections’potentials, then to improve banks’ competitive strength. Also,it’s beneifcial to stakeholdersevaluate the ifnancial situation and the operation performance of the banks’ past and presentand predict the bank’s foresee improvements.So, this article expatiated on the related theories and methods for performanceexamination in commercial banks home and abroad. Then,based on the theory ofperformance evaluation, according to the present performance examination situation of J bank,this thesis analysed the problems in J bank’s systems, and its’bad influence for it.For thesetopics, this article proposed three aspacts of policy suggestions include bank itself, fanacialsupervision department, and stockholders to improve this performance evaluation system. It’sto push forward J bank’s performance examination development and has somehow a greatmeaning to the other commercial banks.The research for this thesis has a certain signiifcance to solve the existing problem in Jbank’s performance assessment. But also it provides reference to design and make an estimateof performance evaluation system for other similar bank. |
