Incentive Travel has become one the fastest growing segments in the global travel industry. However, the development of incentive travel in China still can not meet with the growing demands of the enterprises.Based on domestic and international theories and practices as well as some typical cases of incentive travel, this paper has discussed how incentive travel can be applied to large sales-oriented companies, and at the same time, the application methods like the basic principles of the implementation of incentive travel, activity plans, the choice of destinations, the size of tour groups, itinerary plans, soft services, cost management, and security management.The Infinitus Company is a large sales-oriented enterprise which has ensured its success of intensive preparation and planning of incentive travel for its employees. The preparation and planning include publicity and promotion, identifying of the qualifications of participators, the selection of travel agencies and destinations. During the event, the company is responsible for travel arrangements and smartly combines staff incentive travel with corporate training goals. Meanwhile, it offers soft services, reports on the company official website things such as every activity, the corporate goals about the selection of destinations, travel arrangements, and training programs as well as the feelings of the participators and the whole process of incentive travel. The purpose for this is to enlarge the impact and scale of incentive travel in order to make it an important part of the strategic management of the company.To develop incentive travel, the enterprises should focus on the points. Firstly, enterprises should improve the understanding of incentive travel that the program is both to reward those who have made outstanding contributions, and the important measures aimed at cultivating corporate culture, enhancing staff passions of work, increasing corporate cohesion, expanding the corporate influence, and improving business management. Secondly, incentive travel should be treated as an important management strategy and be well and considerably planned and arranged to achieve the desired activities objectives. Finally, the implemented activities should always be in agreement with company objectives. Hence, the activities could build up the rapport from the rewarded employees which actually benefits the enterprises any upcoming development and direction.
