The construction of water conservancy projects is very important for the stability of nation power. Due to the large amount of investment, long period of construction and great influences from society, economy and environment, large water conservancy project is relatively hard to manage. Meanwhile, the construction of large water conservancy project will influence local environment, society and economy. A water conservancy project with all-round consideration, reasonable design and management will result in positive effect. However, any negligence or wrong-doing in the construction will cause huge losses and disasters. At present, Chinese academic world is still lack of authentic, professional and systematic institutes in the field of project management. Most of the study for project management is focused on theory. Practical research combined with water conservancy project is very few.This paper, from the point of view by construction enterprise, makes preliminary study on the management of water conservancy project. As for the purpose to improve comprehensive economic benefits, through the systematic analysis to schedule, quality, cost and safety control, this paper summarizes inner connection of various points in the project of Langzhuo Canal Extension Line of PRC South to North Water. The author expects the research findings be helpful not only to this project, but also to the successive investment and policy making. This paper suggests High Density Polyethylene pipe be used in the large water conservancy project.The expectation of this paper is to provide valuable experience and reference for those people involved in the construction of water conservancy projects.
