Study On The Core Banking System Construction Of Ningxia Bank

For decades, the informationization in Bank of Ningxia has been promoted along with the development of China’s banking industry. The strength of science and technology in Bank of Ningxia has made great progress and its gap of informationization level with large state-owned and joint-stock banks is being narrowed down while the core banking system has occupied a key position, which has not been changed yet.Core banking system construction is the core of informationization in banks and the foundation of banking operations. At present, the function and positioning of core banking system has been transferred from "integrated business system" to a stable, professional, flexible and centered position. The thesis directs at the role core banking system plays in the IT construction in Bank of Ningxia, and at the effects its assessment and upgrading alteration have on the overall banking informative construction, as well as setting up the goals and the business framework of the technology and application of the core banking system. The objectives that the thesis tries to reach are to optimize and reconstruct the core banking system scientifically, and thus to build up a new generation of core banking system in Bank of Ningxia, which is functionally flexible, sound, future-oriented, service-oriented, customer oriented and supports the product innovation, cross-regional business and multiple legal-person bank.Through the analysis and summary of the current situation and problems concerning the core banking system in Bank of Ningxia, combining the research achievements in core banking system of nearly thirty city commercial banks, the thesis puts forward the overall objectives of the upgrading and reconstruction of the core banking system in Bank of Ningxia, proposes the specific procedures, contents and methods of optimization, and provides a detailed index system in evaluating optimization.
