Since2007, Private Banking Department of Bank of China was established in Beijing, It signaled a new era of the private banking business in China, In recent years, the market of the private banking in China was bigger and bigger that matter domestic banks or foreign banks were committed to the development of the private banking. At the same time, many financial institutions were funded to supply the service to the customer.In this case, as the state-owned joint-stock commercial bank, the Communication Bank of China gets the license to operate the private bank business independently. And the bank does its best to improve the business and get the experience. The Communication Bank of China proposes the "6W" the wealth management as the core concept and determines the private banking business is very important in the in the strategic transformation. The bank also puts forward the service should include the client managers, consultants of private banking and experts. Beside this, the bank uses the various marries to develop the business and pays attention to the wealth management, the investment management, the high level talent, the research and analysis and so on. And then, the bank has achieved great development in the private banking business.However, the private banking business in China has short history as "exotic" and the foundation is so weak, especially in Ningxia private. The branch of the Communication Bank of China is facing great challenges. Although the branch get some success in the quality and quantity of the customers relying on the support from the head office and efforts of Ningxia Branch, the branch still has much different from other branches or other banks in Ningxia. The branch faces the limited customer resources, the fierce competitions in bank market, the service mode which need to improve, the weak abilities of the wealth management and other problems. And how to analyze and solve the series of problems has become the key to the development of private banking business in Ningxia branch.This paper based on the studying and surveys of the Chinese private banking business and the analysis in Ningxia branch. It gives some marries from the development orientation, management manners, service mode, wealth management and customer management to enhance the private banking business of Ningxia branch. I hope it can give some help to the sustainable development of the private banking industry in the Communications Bank of China Ningxia branch.
