| With the continuous progress of science and technology and the rapid development of economy,the competitions in the banking industry become increasingly severe.Commercial banks are fighting for excellent talents in order to quickly integrate into and occupy the local market for long-term and stable development.Customer manager,as the bridge between customer and bank,is not only the representative of customer relations but also the major part directly creating values for commercial banks and the main force in marketing.At present,customer manager’s performance assessment is unreasonable in some aspects.An effective performance assessment not only can stimulate customer managers’ enthusiasm and initiative for work,but also plays a significant role in the long-term and stable development of banks.Therefore,to establish a good performance assessment system becomes an important content of the research on commercial banks.With customer manager’s performance assessment system in the Bank of Ningxia as the subject,this research firstly expounds relevant theories of performance assessment,assessment methods,some related domestic research and the status quo of the customer manager’s performance assessment system in the Bank of Ningxia.And then,by a questionnaire survey,the author summarizes and analyzes the major problems of the customer manager’s performance assessment system in the Bank of Ningxia in the aspects including assessment index,assessment method,assessment content and assessment process,etc.The author elaborates the problems in details like imperfect content of assessment,the lack of criteria in branches’ secondary assessment,unclear process and result of assessment,the lack of communication and feedback mechanisms,formalistic assessment,inadequate application of the result of assessment,the lack of effective supervision mechanism and poor timeliness of performance assessment system.Based on the existing problems,the author optimizes and upgrades the customer manager’s performance assessment system in Bank of Ningxia by approaches like designing more scientific and objective content and criteria of assessment,comprehensive methods of assessment,strict and normative assessment flow,establishing open and transparent channels for communication and feedback and exploring approaches to application.Finally,the author puts forward some corresponding supporting measures for the effective practice of the optimized customer manager’s performance assessment system and creates a cooperative and hand-in-hand work environment for customer managers in the Bank of Ningxia.The author hopes that the optimized customer manager’s performance assessment system in the Bank of Ningxia can not only strengthen performance assessment,improve the management level of customer managers,but also fully tap customer managers’ potential at work,arouse their enthusiasm and improve their comprehensive quality;thus,the performance assessment system cam play a positive role in guiding staff’s career planning. |
