Foreign Bank Information System Based On SOA

Nowadays, foreign banks show a significant increasing in many cities of China, at the same time, some problems come up. The systems of the foreign banks cannot adapt to the diverse needs in different cities. As a result, frequently changing in system function takes a huge burden on the cost of the bank operation. Therefore, it is so necessary that the foreign banks upgrade their systems which are more eligible, adaptive and flexible, in order to improve the management, customer services and competitive ability in society. For the operated characteristics and system requirements of the foreign banks, the Oriented-Service Architecture (SOA) is a better method to solve these needs. The paper describes the features of SOA in detail and shows a case study of a foreign bank's system integration. In addition, the paper analyses the present information system and creates the new system based on SOA. Then, in the process of system design, it is illustrated clearly how the new system is consisted and why it is more agile and flexible than ever before. The new system is full of the reliability, efficiency and expansibility, which are the very needs for the future requirements.
