Study On The Vegetable Industry Model Of Lhasa

The history of large-scale cultivation of vegetables in Tibet is not long. Tibet’s vegetable industrygot rapid development for the hard work of generation’s scientists and for the strong support of theCentral Government and the Autonomous Region Party Committee since Tibet peaceful liberation. Now,both the output and the kind of vegetables enlarged. Being the Qinghai-Tibet railway was running,brought unprecedented opportunities to Tibet’s vegetables Industry. The vegetable industry has becomean important income source of farmers in Tibet.The research was taken Lhasa vegetable’s industry for the material. Three kind of vegetableindustry model were studied to explore the appropriate one for Lhasa. Investigated the investment cost,operational management, product quality assurance system and social benefits were analyzed. The resultshowed that rural cooperative organization is the most appropriate mode in Tibet, which can acceleratethe development of vegetable industry in Lhasa.
