With the development of economic globalization, competition in pharmaceutical industry in China is increasingly fierce. Large foreign pharmaceutical companies relying on strong economic power and advanced technology continue to conquer high-end pharmaceutical market; in the meanwhile domestic private pharmaceutical companies depending on high-efficient and flexible operation modes and management mechanisms take advantage of price war to seize the low-level ordinary drug market. Facing such fierce competitions, quality and price have become a key factor of success for enterprise s. Toyota as an outstanding example, through optimized production means, reduces costs, improves quality and flexibly makes response to market, which brings a great success and inspires domestic pharmaceutical enterprises that are in a weak position.In current domestic pharmaceutical market, against the backdrop of increasing number of similar drugs, pressure on drug price from new medical reform policies, high requirements on inspection of high-quality drugs from State Drug Administration, the increasing appreciation of RMB, rising labor costs and much attention on environmental protection around Taihu Lake, A company faces unprecedented market pressure. Only through continuing to rely on improving inter-company management, learning successful management philosophies from advanced pharmaceutical companies, improving working, lowering costs, improving product quality and accelerating marketing response speed through technologic advance and reinforced management can a company have great achievement. Optimized production is the very successful operation mode that has been testified by numerous predecessors. A pharmaceutical company, according to its own development need, seeks the reform and innovation of optimized production and hopes that through implementation of that to quickly enhance current management quality and through improving the company’s competitiveness to get out of the current predicament and make new breakthroughs for further development and production space.In this thesis, the writer sets A pharmaceutical company as an example, on the basis of comprehensive analysis on current production and operation status, through learning theory and method of optimized production, from the perspective of enterprise development and combined with characteristics of pharmaceutical companies and their process manufacturing, explores to apply the relevant optimized production theories and methods flexibly to pharmaceutical companies in order to complete implementation program designs and implement them in the mind of project management system. Results show that through systematic promotion, enterprises in terms of cost, quality, efficiency and equipment security have significant improvement. At the same time, behavior and awareness of employees have also changed a lot which lays a solid foundation for establishing modern enterprise cultures.
