With the arrival of the knowledge economy age, knowledge, as the main source ofinnovation, has become the focus of the institute. The study of individual knowledge sharingis an important part of knowledge management. The strategic position of knowledgemanagement in business management has been generally recognized. In modern society, thedivision of labor is more and more significant. Everybody in the organization views theproblem differently and they obtain different knowledge. Thus, knowledge sharing hasbecome an effective way for employees to receive new knowledge. Knowledge maymaximize its effectiveness only in the process of usage and knowledge sharing is a source ofinnovation, if employees regard their knowledge as their own secret, then the business will benot competitive at all. Therefore, in technology-intensive and capital-intensive firms, theirinnovation and development depend on the knowledge sharing between employees. Therefore,the study of knowledge sharing is beneficial for innovation and the improvement ofcompetitiveness.From the human resource perspective, this study is designed to explore the relationshipbetween perceived social network, trust, perceived support, knowledge sharing attitude andbehavior. Then this paper examined the mediating role of knowledge sharing attitude in therelationship between perceived social network and knowledge sharing behavior, and themediating role of trust in the relationship between perceived social network and knowledgeattitude. At last, this paper explored the moderating role of the perceived supervisor supporton the relationship between perceived social network and knowledge sharing attitude. In thisstudy, I conducted a survey covering153samples, and used SPSS16.0, Amos7.0software fordata analysis to examine the model.The results show: First, social network has positively significant impacts on knowledgesharing attitude. Secondly, knowledge sharing attitude has positively significant impacts onknowledge sharing behavior. Thirdly, knowledge sharing attitude mediates the relationshipbetween social network and knowledge sharing behavior. Fourthly, trust mediates therelationship between social network and knowledge sharing attitude. Fifthly, perceivedsupervisor support moderates the relationship between social network and knowledge sharing attitude.Based on the above findings, this paper proposes several suggestions on improvingemployees’ knowledge sharing attitude and behavior. This study believes that the frequentknowledge behavior depends on many factors, when firms want to promote knowledgesharing, these factors should be fully taken into account. Furthermore, managers should beaware of the influence which the social network exerts on employees, create favorableatmosphere including powerful support and culture of mutual trust to encourage employees toshare their knowledge.
