Study On The Influencing Factors Of High-technology Industrial Agglomeration In Beijing

Industrial aggolmeration is a widespread phenomenon of spatial distributoion ofeconomic activities, which exerts comprehensive influences on economies. As high-techindustrial has different characteristics from the traditional industrial, the factors thatinfluence the high-tech industrial agglomeration are different from the traditionalones.High-tech industrial agglomeration also exits in China. Beijing is one of the placeswhere the degree of high-tech industrial agglomeration is high. Studying the influencingfactors of high-tech industrial agglomeration gives theory guide to improve theagglomeration development of high-tech industry.This thesis analyses the characteristics of high-tech industry and its develop pattern inBeijing. We summarize the influencing factors of Beijing high-tech industry, on basis ofthe existing economical patterns. Then we analyse these factors using math pattens andeconometrics softwares. In this thesis we empirical research the recent ten years’ data ofBeijing high-tech industry with the pattern that we made. And we find five main factorsand measure those influent degrees. In the end, we give some proposes that help improvingthe agglomeration development of high-tech industry in Beijing.During the study, we combine theory and empirical research, which makes the studyapproches to the facts and guides the actions better. We base the study on econometricstheory and use econometrics softwares.
