Research On The South Zhangjiakou500kV Transmission Line Project’s Schedule Management

Between the "12th Five-Year" period, State Grid and Southern Power Grid will continue to increase the infrastructure of the grid, so nervous before the infrastructure task, how to ensure quality, on schedule to complete the project is placed in each transmission line projects in front of a problem. The biggest difference between transmission line projects and other construction projects is that as soon as the transmission line projects have completed, the project will immediately put the power grid and network operation and take into account the safety and reliability of grid operation, the time of completion of the project has a strictly time limit. Once it is identified, it almost couldn’t be changed.Transmission line project has been since the schedule change frequently, leading to the time schedule often changes and exceeds the duration. Because of the strict requirements of completion time, forcing the project to progress can’t be extended. Thus, most transmission line projects to the construction of the latter are at the cost of overtime, to launch a possible human to ensure that the project be completed on schedule, it has become a common phenomenon. For this phenomenon, this article will use south Zhangjiakou500kV transmission line project for example, explain clearly the application of project management theory in the project schedule management methods. Under the premise of the literature review and theoretical discourse, the significance of transmission line construction management, as well as the Works Progress Administration in the transmission line project, and finally to south Zhangjiakou500kV transmission line project is the object of study, the management theory of the progress of the project in the transmission line project. In this thesis, the method shown in an example of progress in the power transmission line project management techniques.
