With the rapid development of China’s telecommunications industry, the number ofstations and the length of cable are rapid growth. Especially at intelligent era of mobilephones, the requirements on the communication network signals are increasingly high.With the building of a large number of communications infrastructure, the managementand maintenance of equipment are greater challenges. Currently, when the managementand maintenance of equipment have problems, field staff must seek the help of supportstaffs using mobile cell phone. The support staffs find the matched information from therelevant resource systems and then feedback to field staff. The time and risk are greatlyincreased with the repeated exchanges. Based on this situation, this thesis achievesmobile terminal applications of the telecommunication resource inquiry, combining withthe3G smart phones and the telecommunication resource.The main contents of this study are the following three aspects:(1) Through research and development platform android google api studies candevelop applications on the android platform, enabling interactive interface, data storageand other basic functions.(2) Research android client and server platforms interactive interface, ensuringandroid client server platform able to manipulate data, thus completing the real-timemanagement.(3) Conduct research on the server platform, complete cable attribute management,optical information management, cable transfer box management and ONU equipmentmanagement, etc., to meet client and server can simultaneously manage all kinds ofinformation. On the server side development will use the J2EE platform technology,based on J2EE architecture, the system will be divided into three layers, namely thepresentation layer, control layer and the model layer. The display layer will use struts2framework technology. Control layer will use the open-source framework spring, themodel layer using Hibernate framework technology.This thesis realized a telecommunication resource management system based onandroid platform. Installed this software into an android smart phone, you can interact information with servers on time, and deal with the equipment management and fieldmaintenance on time. This design has been completion of the probationary and it isbeing internal application and promotion in china telecom.
