In recent years, significant progress of Internet technologies has made great changesto traditional enterprise structure. Thus, informationization and electronization gradually become really popular in reducing expenses and achieving efficiency. In traditional logistic operation systems, manual and semi-manual working restricted development of logistic transportation enterpriseson a large scale. However, the electronization of logistic information is becoming a new trend in the development of logistic transportation enterprises.According to contemporary conditions and features of the logistic operation systems, a logistic information management system based on J2EE is designed and proposed in this article. The mentioned system makes it possible for managers of the system to easily achieve operations like statistic observing and counting, system maintaining and allocating, andtracking real-time conditions of the terminals. The production system consists of wireless transmission terminals, CDMA core network, logistic information management system and logistic information management center, and among which I am in charge of designingand developing the very part of logistic information management system. Current popular technologies are adopted in this article like J2EE structure, MVC design patterns and Struts structure. It is mainly discussed in this article that, the whole process of analysis, designation and development of the J2EE based logistic information management system. This article consists of seven parts as introduction, demand analysis, general design, detailed design, system implementation, deploying and testing and epilogue. Main technical background, main contents and author’s tasks are introduced in introduction.Total demand, seven parts of functional demand and non-functional demands are discussed in the part of demand analysis. General design and the design of five main functional modules are given in the general design of the system, block diagrams and use case diagrams are posted. The detailed design of seven specific functional modules are given in the system detailed design, package diagrams and class diagrams are posted. The results of system development are introduced in system implementation, effect diagrams are posted. Test cases are given in the system deployment, and test results are listed. Finally, epilogue not only concludes the article but also looks into the future of related works.
