Study On Information System In Mold Industry

With the global economics turning into buyers market since21century, the trend ofproduct demand is transferring from standardization and batch production to diversificationand individuation.Contemporary die and mould manufacturing enterprise is the typical one-of-a-kindproduction enterprise that produce facilities such as moulds and detecting tools professionally,which possesses characteristics of general one-of-a-kind production enterprise and alsofeatures in its own production and management for the particularity of mould productionprocess. For a certain mould manufacturing enterprise, the information managementcapability is the key crucial point to be competitive in the market. For the promotion ofmanufactories’ management and competitiveness, it is so significant to study and establish aninformation management system which can meet the practical needs of mould manufacturingenterprise.This article elaborated the die and mould enterprise’s characteristics. Based onmanagement character and development trend of mould enterprise, this dissertation proposesthe functional requirements which fit the needed management system, and builds up generalconstruct of Web-based management information system. The construct and function of everymould are explained in the study, after which the dissertation completes the analysis ofsoftware. On the basis of those works, the dissertation analyzes flow of the system andintroduces the key points of developing the system.
