Analysis Of Guangming Newspapers (1941-1949)

The China Democratic League played an important role in modern Chinese politics,it is the most active and most influential in the1940s,it also founctional in major events, such as the Anti Japanese War, war of liberation, founding a new China."Guangming Newspapers" is the party organ of the Democratic League. The object of this paper is "Guangming Newspapers" from the establishment of Democratic League in1941to the founding a new China in1949.This paper fully occupied with first-hand information of Guangming Newspapers, begin with the development course of the newspaper and its background, using the research methods of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, literature and sociology, analyzes the content of the newspaper publicity, strategy, characteristics and historical contribution. Through the research, the paper explore Guangming Newspapers’s development of the three publishments and the three stopping points. It is founded in Hongkong on September18th,1941, since then has experienced two reopened, respectively from September18th,1946to April19th,1947and from March1st’1948to August in1949. The paper combined two publication period,so as to study on its content and strategy.It concluded that Guangming Newspapers highlight the six major contents:published this union documents, convey the democratic peace in mind, critical centrist and liberal "middle way", reported that the student movement against aggression, convey the patriotic advocate, contact the International Democratic movement. Mainly adopts four promotional strategies:scale effect, the typical report full enlightenment and special combination, fine tune the strategy with the mobilization of political change, and establish local communication network.The newspaper groups formed a distinct characteristics of the cross party identity of party newspaper, democracy and freedom of the literati newspaper and patriotic endeavour folk newspapers, functional properties of commodity with tools and political nature, mass media. It makes the speech organs established overseas, it has prepared public opinion base for future publicity work. It also promote the development of Anti Japanese national united front and China democratic process, and the sufficient political establishment of new Chinese.
