In recent years, more and more learners begin to accept the way of studying by Internet video resource. And most of them are used to study Internet video courses. Now the network and smart mobile terminals are better and better so that many people begin to watch videos by smart mobile terminals, and many learners study Internet video courses by them. Now, the study way is not perfect, because the researchers tend to focus solely on the content and structure of the video courses, but don’t pay enough attention to the player for presenting video courses. In order to make learners study easier, researchers have developed a lot of tools for traditional video course, such as ELAN, OnToELAN and so on, but nobody cares about the tools for Internet video courses.Before designing the video annotation tool, Ⅰ investigate various tools for literal notation so that Ⅰ can make sure the necessity of notation. Then Ⅰstudied the present situation of the video course at home and abroad, so that Ⅰ can find the universality and importance of video courses. Then Ⅰ experience some video notation tools and Ⅰ put the experience as a reference. Based on the experience, Ⅰ put forward the research goal and research method. After that, Ⅰ focus on the analysis of many kind of video notation tools on PC as a reference. After analyzing the existing tools, Ⅰcarry on the questionnaire survey and interviews on some subjects, so that Ⅰ can learn about their perceptions of mobile video courses, the habit of making comments, and the demand for video notation based on mobile client. After finishing investigation and research, Ⅰ rearrange the requirements, and Ⅰ design the appropriate function. Finally Ⅰ develop a video notation tools based on Android system. And Ⅰ invent some learners to test the software. On the basis of collecting real data, Ⅰ improve the tool, and explore the meaning of the tool for helping learners to study of the video courses.
