The distributor, media, audience as the three basic elements of communication process, every part is important. The audience, as the transmission terminal of information, is the purpose and destination of all information activities. Therefore, it is necessary for the newspaper research to focus on the audience perspective point view. Chinese press in Thailand has the dual identity, which belong not only the Chinese journalism but also the foreign, which shows some specificity, thus, the audience of the Chinese press in Thailand lives in a special environment and needs for special informations. Therefore, we can not lump together the Thailand Chinese newspapers and others, must carry on a concrete analysis.Especially at present the Chinese newspapers in Thailand are facing survival crisis, whose market is also facing serious shrink. We must seek for solutions to current problems of the Chinese newspaper in Thailand from the current status quo. In this thesis, using the questionnaire survey, and on-the-spot interview methods, I try to describe the current status quo of the audience of the Chinese press, analyze the Thailand Chinese newspaper survival space, find the existed problems, and put forward some suggestions for their development. |
