| With the rapid development of science and technology, information technology has penetrated into resource management, information management and other fields in the social economy and daily life. The growing demands render the traditional positioning systems incompetent of satisfying people’s exacting needs for accurate indoor positioning any more. More and more demand for indoor positioning which has strong relationship with the safety of life and property. Therefore, it is essential to the rapid and accurate indoor positioning.Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), is a kind of wireless communication technology, which can identify specific targets through radio signals, read or write related data without establishing mechanical or optical contact between specific objectives and identification systems. Now RFID technology has a lot of advantages including non-line of sight, non-touching, fast identification, high accuracy, high safety, low cost and so on. The development of indoor positioning based on RFID is very fast. The main method of indoor positioning with RFID contains of TO A, AOA and RSSI, which are widely used.This paper presents an indoor positioning system based on RFID, which includes data acquisition module, data processing module and terminal display module. The data processing module of indoor positioning system includes core control circuit and wireless transmission module. According to the plurality of the electronic tags which are arranged in the target area as equilateral triangle, the reader reads the information and Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) within its reading range. Sampling and calculation of the positioning result is controlled by the core circuit. Experimental results show that the indoor positioning system has excellent positioning accuracy, with high efficiency and low cost. |
