In recent years, affected by the fog and haze, people pay more attention to indoor airquality. At present, there are lots of products on the market, which are related to indoor airquality data acquisition, such as measuring instrument, handheld device and monitoringsystem. However, most of them have wire, can only collect temperature and humidity, andcannot give a comprehensive evaluation for the current environment. The wireless indoorair quality data acquisition and analysis system can collect many kinds of indoorenvironment information in real time, and get an indoor air quality grade by calculating. Itprovides the valid data for people to improve the indoor environment and has well practicalvalue and broad application prospects.In this paper, an indoor air quality data acquisition and analysis system is designed tomonitor the indoor environment in real time. By analyzing the functional requirements ofthe system, the solution is presented. First, data acquisition function is developed. Thewireless data acquisition node is designed and the data acquisition function is implementedin the node. Second, the wireless communication rules are made to implement the datatransportation between the large numbers of nodes and the server. Third, the datapreprocessing methods are selected to analyze and process the collected signals. At last,indoor air quality evaluation model is constructed and applied in the system to implementthe function of analysis.A wireless data acquisition node with a variety of sensors is designed in this paper.The results show that it can accurately acquire the information of temperature, humidity,illumination, CO, CO2, NH3and O3in real time and give a correct and stable transmissionto the server. In this paper, the indoor air quality data acquisition and analysis system isrespectively tested in home, school and factory. The results indicate that the indoor airquality grade obtained from the system is consistent with that using the single indexassessment method. The system can obviously distinguish the indoor environment leveland well reflect the comfort degree of people’s work and lives.
