Product quality is a key issue of universal concern in current society andeconomic construction of all nations. The traditional methods of quality managementcost high and perform inefficiently, can't satisfy the requirements of modernmanufacture. However, statistical process control (SPC) is an advanced technology ofquality management and control based on mathematical statistics, it mainly aims atprocess stability, concerns prevention of whole process. SPC is able to reduce wasterseffectively, cut cost of production consequently.Facing current problems of manufacturing company in our country, such asproduct of poor quality, backward technology, confused management and so on, thispaper is concentrated on SPC system based on data acquisition, realizes dataacquisition, users management, temperature compensation, drawing control chart andhistogram, abnormity analyzing of work procedure. The system can make SPC appliedhigh exactly and efficiently, raise quality awareness of operators, enhance productionmanagement, decrease rejected goods, improve economic benefit and marketcompetition of enterprises. The detail work as below:(1)Some research is done on the development course, development direction,often-used technical tools of statistic process control, and its application in practicalproduction, then content and meaning of the subject is expounded.(2) Based on the frame of the system constructed, all hardware-parts of the systemare analyzed, and the performance of data acquisition system is tested.(3)Combined with the application of SPC in the practical production, therequirements of system is analyzed, the data flow chart and data dictionary is built up.By preliminary design and data storage design, all levels hierarchy charts of system aremade. (4)ADO, serial port communication, system security—the three key techniquesused in the system development are introduced in detail. Detailed designs of all thesystem modules are anatomized.(5)By using test cases to test system, a series of problems are found and resolved,and then the running example of the system modules is explained.Finally, brief summarization of the research is carried out, and some expectationsare given to future work.
