Fashion journals from90’s last century in the China started just a few decades into the lives of consumers. Fashion magazines and consumerism are closely linked, behind the magazine splendid content, hide a specific consumer advice. Fashion magazine is not a certain group of people only, the target audience positioning themselves for the empty middle class, but in fact it is open to all the audience, for readers who cannot reach the fashion magazine standard in the income and consumption level, their interpretation for magazine content and use as my topic.In Starbucks public reading room, a lot of magazines circulated in the reader,《COSMOPOLITAN》 magazine as a symbol of female periodicals is no exception, magazine readers positioning themselves for the high income, high consumer groups, but in public space for reading 《COSMOPOLITAN》 magazine become readily available. In this paper Starbucks observation sites, through individual interviews, outline the 《COSMOPOLITAN》 magazine outside the target audience of readers fashion story.
