In recent years, The prevalence of cardiovascular disease was increasedrapidly in China. It is a risk for patient that cardiologists who lack of clinical experiencediagnose cardiac disease rely on the few cardiac magnetic resonance image, andtwo-dimensional MRI can not locate accurately in the cardiac lesions area, so it bringsus more inconvenience. Three-dimensional reconstruction technique on cardiac meet thecardiologists`urgent need, cardiologists observes cardiac in360°directions, and nolonger limited to two-dimensional magnetic resonance images when diagnoses heartdisease, thus help doctors make an accurate diagnosis, and provide a favorable basis fordiagnosis. So, three-dimensional reconstruction on cardiac has great significance andwide range of application in clinical diagnosis and treatment. In this paper, a detailstudy of three-dimensional reconstruction method in cardiac MRI has been done. Inorder to meet the demand of the heart physician. A set of cardiac MRI (MagneticResonance Image, MRI for short) diagnosis system was completed, It will be used todiagnose heart disease.This article is mainly embodied in the following respects:1.The three-dimensional diagnosis system on cardiac MRI`s requirementsanalysis and prototyping was completed. According to the needs of cardiologistsproposed on the three-dimensional cardiac MRI diagnosis system, system`s business usecases was accessed, then a conceptual model and business structure were established,and system requirements analysis specification document and the system prototypingwere completed. After communicated with the doctor repeatedly, the systemrequirements analysis and prototyping was confirmed finally.2.The three-dimensional diagnosis system on cardiac MRI`s system design wasfinished. Based on the system requirements analysis specification document, the system use cases has been determined, and the business rules was analyzed, then,the systemdesign was completed. It included the logic structure of the system, the detail of systemdesign and the structure of system classes.3.The System implementation and system testing were finished. The VisualizationToolKit has chosen to finish this System`s development. Finally achieved the sequenceclassification in DICOM folder, preprocessing in MRI, edge detection in MRI, MRIreconstruction. Among these, volume rendering in MC algorithm and surface renderingin RC algorithm were used in3D reconstruction, the reconstruction ofthree-dimensional body can be arbitrary rotation, scaling, threshold adjustment and soon. The basic methods and processes were described in the sequence of classification,MC algorithms and RC algorithm. At last the system test method was described.
