Laser is a kind of high-tech invention, it has a pivotal role in military, defense,industrial, medical and other industries. With the development in the field of laserapplication, laser spot measurement has become more and more important. Buttraditional laser spot detection method has many disadvantages, for example, lowmeasurement precision, large calculation errors and measuring time long. However,CCD has the fast working speed and high accuracy of measurement, so the CCD imageacquisition technology applied in the field of laser speckle detection can avoid thedisadvantages of traditional detection methods.In this paper, the design of laser speckle detection system adopts parallel double4fsystem as the front-end spot acquisition, using CCD image sensor in spot imageacquisition. The design was used CCD47-10of e2v company as image sensor, itchoosed FPGA EP4CE15F17of the Altera corporation as control chip of timinggeneration and system, and adopted the ADS1605of TI company to complete denoisingof CCD output signal and A/D conversion. The whole system uses the USB interfaceconnected to the computer, and realizes the laser spot parameter is measured on theupper machine.In the end, the design of laser spot detection system has carried on the detailed testand analysis. The spot image datas which were detected can be displayed in the uppermachine by the USB interface. Test results show that each part of the system design inthis paper can work normally. So the CCD image collection and processing system cansatisfy for spot detection requirements.
