The application of configuration software in the field of control makes users don’t need to replace the monitoring software so frequently to meet the replacement of equipment or the updata of system. It not only brings great convenience for the user, but also improves the production efficiency. Compared to the traditional monitoring software, configuration software has a lot of advantages such as high degree of freedom, good reliability, compatibility, easily updatad, which make that the Configuration software is very popular with users.Based on the research and the theory of well-known configuration software, I put forward a kind of method to design configuration which is completely based on the B/S structure. Compared to the tranditional configuration software, this one is not only can be used in the field of control but also can be used well in the field of intelligent building. Compared to the traditional C/S structure software, this one has a better ability of cross-platform. The ability of cross-platform is more and more important for software in this age as the flat-panel computer and the mobile phone becomes more and more popular. Architectural differences also make the configuration software designed in this paper has better user experience. Both the running environment and the development environment can be published through Webpage form.We divide configuration software into three parts:human-computer interaction layer, data layer and driver layer. Using LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) technology road to build server; Using HTML language to build foundation; Using javascript language to preside over front desk logic; Using CSS style for the page layout planning; We complete the overall design of human-computer interaction layer. Using the E/R model we complete the design of data layer. Using C++as the development language; Using Qt software as development tool; Using universal controller designed by our laboratory as the hadware platform; We complete the design of driver layer.In this paper, we completed the design of the configuration software based on B/S structure. Thuough the experimental test, we fix some bugs. Now, It appears relatively bug free and can communicate with universal controller designed by our laboratory perfectly. The configuration software implements basic monitoring functions and the operating results are quite well.
