Design And Implementation Of University Course Selection System Based On Credit System

At present, colleges and universities in China have generally implemented the creditsystem whose core is course selection, course selection of students has already become oneof the most important work of teaching management in colleges and universities. However,constrained by the complexity of course selection, most of course selection systems do notrealize the real course selection of complete credit system, the type and number ofstudents’ selected courses are subject to many restrictions. In this paper, according to theteaching practice of WenZheng College of Soochow University, design and implement anopen course selection system based on the complete credit system. Through the systemscreening students’ selected courses, students can select the whole school curriculum,expand the scope of students’ course selection, increase the freedom of students’ courseselection, effectively improve the students’learning enthusiasm.This paper first introduces the development background, research contents andsignificance of the university course selection system, analyzes the open course selectionsystem faced problems under the complete credit system, and gives the solutions; secondly,introduce the related knowledge and technology used in the design and implementation ofthe system; next, describe the system’s demand analysis from four aspects of softwarerequirements, and on this basis design the system, the paper mainly introduces the designof the judging algorithm on curriculum conflict and integrated priority selection algorithm;then, introduce the concrete realization of the main function of the modules of the system,and the implementation of other important features of the system; finally, introduce the testof the system.In this paper, the designed open course selection system based on the complete creditsystem has been put into use, expand the scope of the optional courses of the students inWenZheng College, has received the good effect. The course selection system has the characteristics of simple and friendly user interface, easy to use, stable and reliableoperation, easy maintenance, expansibility, meets the design requirements, and has acertain reference value for the design of similar systems.
