Iris diagnosis has been confirmed to have broad prospects for development, andresearch at home and abroad, many researchers devote themselves to the irisdiagnosis and iris related fields has been fruitful research results, iris diagnosis fielddevelopment to lay a solid foundation.The current collection equipment acquisition of the picture to the iris diagnosispreprocessing work with a lot of difficulties, images tend to give the next work bringsa lot of inconvenience and affect the final diagnosis result. There is much of theresults of the present study is based on the gray image, compared the image memory,calculation and analysis of the advantages of simple, but ignore the color also is togive up the important information of iris image itself. If the color information is usedproperly, there will be a multiplier effect.This paper first introduces the iris image preprocessing algorithms use.According to the characteristics of iris acquisition equipment selection, the iris imagefirst locate the processing method, using three point positioning circle and outer circleof the inner limit is determined respectively inside and outside the circle of the iriswell and radius. And then introduces the normalization theory and method of the iris.And the iris preprocessing method used in this paper are experimental, proved that themethod of positioning speed, high accuracy, and strong adaptability. Can be appliedin practice.Then from the medical point of view analysis of pathological lipid ring iris, iris lipid ring proved the potential threat to the health of the human body, leads to theautomatic detection of lipid in the ring of iris significance.Also introduces loop detection algorithm needs theoretical knowledge includingcolor space theory, use of the lipid, and has done a detailed introduction to the maincolor fusion algorithm theory.This algorithm is applied to the detection of iris lipid ring a bit is, to make fulluse of the color information at the same time, the eyelids, eyelashes, lipid spotinterference color and the color ring distance is far, the color fusion in the absence ofiris interference elimination treatment will detect the iris is successful, the detectionalgorithm charm.Finally, according to the original text analysis algorithm and put forward someimprovement, and the experimental comparison of two algorithms, prove that theimproved algorithm in the detection accuracy and the detection rate is improvedobviously. To detect the failure of picture after study that comes from a lipid ringimages, the reason is from the naked eye can see it with a thin layer of lipid ring, buthas not been detected, in the threshold selection is worthwhile improvements.
