With the vigorous development of the Internet,the application of Internet technology has penetrated into every aspect of our lives,and people are becoming more and more dependent on the Internet.While enjoying the convenience brought by the Internet,the problem of personal information security is more clearly exposed In front of people.People began to pay more attention to personal privacy issues,and put forward higher and higher requirements on the identity recognition system in the Internet.However,traditional identity recognition methods could not guarantee the accuracy of the identification while stably,automatically and quickly fulfilling people's requirements for identity verification.Driven by demand,biometric recognition technologies based on fingerprints,iris,face,palm print,gait,etc.came into being.Among them,iris-based biometric recognition has broad application prospects due to its advantages such as accuracy,speed,stability,and uniqueness.Considerable progress has been made since it was proposed,but due to the complexity of the human eye structure and the diversity of application environments,there are still many unresolved issues in the field of iris processing.Therefore,some new theories and methods need to be introduced into iris image processing.This paper introduces mediation math to deal with blurring phenomenon into iris image processing.The research work mainly focuses on two aspects of iris image correction and edge detection.The paper first introduces the characteristics of iris images and related processing techniques,and then briefly introduces the MMTD.Based on this,the iris image white balance correction algorithm and edge detection algorithm based on MMTD are studied,and the iris image processing system based on MMTD is designed and implemented.The main research work is as follows:(1)Aiming at the traditional white balance correction algorithm,the iris images obtained under different light and color temperatures are corrected using a fixed gray-scale threshold,resulting in a problem that the correction effect of some images is poor.This paper proposes a white balance correction algorithm based on MMTD for adaptive selection of gray thresholds.Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.(2)In order to improve the execution speed of the white balance correction algorithm,this paper proposes an improved MMTD adaptive white balance correction algorithm based on the bilinear difference,and introduces the constraint conditions of the color temperature curve to eliminate abnormal image blocks in the image,effectively improving Algorithm effect andexecution speed.(3)Due to the significant difference in the pixel values of the effective iris interval of the iris image,in order to reduce the impact of environmental noise on the iris image boundary detection,this paper proposes an iris image edge detection algorithm based on MMTD.This method can adaptively adjust the gray threshold.Edge detection works well.(4)An iris image preprocessing system based on MMTD is designed and implemented.This system can realize MMTD-based color temperature curve white balance correction,gray scale,edge detection,circle positioning,and normalization of the effective area of the iris image.
