Design And Implementation Of College Office Automation Management Platform Based On B/S

In the era of rapid development of informationization and internetization,various fields have fall over each other to their own information construction. In orderto meet the needs of society, the education system is not resigned to playing secondfiddle, gradually speeds up the campus information construction, in recent years,more and more information management platforms have been developed and widelyused in the campus. Mature management platforms include student dormitorymanagement platform, management platform, information management platform,course teaching employees management platform, teaching paper examinationmanagement platform workers without pay management platform and so on. Theemergence of these platforms not only reduce the working pressure of teachers, butalso effectively improve the teachers work efficiency. In order to further strengthenthe campus information construction and realize the modernization of our collegecampus, a college office automation management platform is developed for a suitableinternal demand of the college.I participated in the entire process of the design and implementation of collegeoffice automation management platform based on B/S mode, the past officeautomation management system in enterprise is mostly based on the C/S mode, thestaffs need to proceed with related operations in a specified client computer, but infact, you often need to complete some file upload management or operation in otheroffice locations, therefore, office automation management system based on C/S modehas si gnificant limitations in space which can’t take system advantages to extremes.The development of office automation management system is mainly based onthe B/S model and uses the current popular ASP.NET and framework technology, Microsoft Visual Studio2008as the design and development platform in thedevelopment process, SQL Server2005as the database storage management platform,C#as the programming language. According to the functions of modules, the systemincludes departmental management, staff management, bulletin management, filemanagement, communication management, attendance management, rulesmanagement and system management. Through this system, college internaldepartments can release, receive and exchange information; can share and retrieveresource rapidly and easily; can realize the cooperative work between departments;also can facilitate communication and exchange between teachers.Through the test, analysis and study of the management platform for a long time,it shows that the system can transfer file information rapidly and effectively betweenfaculties and departments through the office automation management platform,strengthen the communication between departments and attendance managementsystem, effectively improve the efficiency of the management staff, reduce theprobability of repetition labor. The system can basically meet the school requirementsin function and operation, at the same time speed up the informationization andmodernization of college.
