The Design And Implementation Of A Software Testing Management For China Mobile Ltd. Of Inner Mongolia

Abstract Be one of the most important parts of software development, software testing is more and more paid attention by domestic software enterprises. How to manage software testing process effectively is the most important issue for our small and medium enterprises. There are many excellent software testing tools, but, some of them are so expensive that most of small enterprises can not afford it; some others are not suitable to our enterprises. In this article, we compared and analyzed those software testing tools, designed and accomplished a testing tool which is suitable to our small and medium-sized enterprises.This paper studies to test management tool supported by the software testing process and management system will be divided into test case management, defect management software, testing the progress of management, log management of these parts. Including the papers of test cases, defects for the life cycle process definition, control of test cases, to address shortcomings in the process of converting state; multi-functional information, officials can test as needed, select a different combination of query conditions, different levels of understanding to deal with defects State distribution; automatic statistics can be directly reflected in part in the project over a period of time efficiency, as well as modules, at different times of test cases and defects such as the amount of quantitative data; according to the statistics, the data can be exported to excel to generate a chart table so that items can intuitive understanding of the progress of the project, the implementation rate of test cases and defects of the development trend and rate of repair, and so on.Through test analysis and management process tailoring, in meeting the needs of small and medium enterprises, ensure the highest degree of scalability of this system. System can improve the efficiency of the test, and reduce the entire software development costs and development time, fundament reduction of developers and testers work.
