Along with the continuous development of Mobile communication network, people do not meet the diversity of using services any more, but pay more attention to all kinds of perception when using business. We are also try our best to transforming the communication services into information services. Unlike the voice services, short message service as a value-added service, has been great recognition by the users from development to the commercial, the number of users and the business volume has been grown rapidly. With the emergence of more and more value-added services such as GPRS etc, the number of users of short message becoming stable, and the growth rapid of business volume becoming slow at the same time. With the mobile communication network matures, for the quality of demand in business using becoming higher. Therefore, in the process of building networks, we must do our best to guarantee reliable operation of the network and meet people’s need in using business at the same time to optimize parameter for different demand of different using business.In this paper, we will analyze diversification of short message service and the change of short message service’s demand, and elaborate business process and signaling process of short message. We will introduce SMS’s system structure and module of function. Combined with problems in using business, we will analyze cost time and delay time in message send crossing, and propose solutions, achieving propose that enhance the users’perception through comparing with test results before and after optimize.
