Streetpaper Apropos In Salzburg, Austria

As an essential part of social profit journalism, streetpapers, which aims at helping the poor to help themselves, are developing rapidly all over the world. According to International Network of Streetpapers, they currently have123streetpaper members from41countries. However, there is no streetpaper yet in China.This project attempts to introduce streetpapers with the case of Apropos, a local streetpaper in Salzburg, Austria, so as to promote the establishment and development of the streetpaper and social profit journalism in ChinaThis documentary consists of several questions and answers which discuss about the daily work of streetpaper Apropos and its humanistic care for its vendors.In the part about Apropos’s daily work, this documentary introduces the circulation, coverage, target readers of Apropos and its connection with other streetpapers. As for the part about the humanistic care for vendors, this documentary discusses how Apropos not only helps people to make money but also helps them to gain confidence and get back to the society.
