The Lack Of Audience-based Sense: A Deep Analysis Of The Pseudo-humanistic Care In The News Coverage In China

As a platform for the dissemination of information and views,it shoulders important responsibilities in the public domain. It decides that the media should show a caring attitude in the news coverage instead of acting as a cold discourse machine. The main idea of this ideology is that the media should have the spirit of humane concern.However, as the spirit of humanistic care is implemented gradually in the news coverage in China, some problems which are worrying and can not be overlooked emerge. Some media pays much attention humanistic care, but for various complicated reasons, they are far from the spirit of humanistic concern in practice and show the phenomenon of pseudo-humanistic care. In the trend of the market economy, this phenomenon has become stronger and stronger.This paper comprehensively explores the phenomenon of pseudo-humanistic care in the news coverage in China and presents some measures for media to implement the audience-based theory and humanistic care.This paper is divided into five sections.SectionⅠis the introduction, introducing the motivation of the subject, study methods and ideas etc.SectionⅡsummarizes the main forms and the danger of the pseudo-humanistic care in the news coverage in China and a large number of typical cases are needed to illustrate it.SectionⅢstates that the pseudo-humanistic care is the violation of the audience-based idea and how the pseudo-humanistic care violates the audience-based idea by means of an analysis of the close connections between audience-based idea and humanistic care in the news coverage.SectionⅣdiscusses thoroughly the causes of the pseudo-humanistic care in the news coverage in China from various angles, including from the point of view of Communication.SectionⅤpresents some workable methods for the implementation of humanistic care in the news coverage.
