The Research And Implementation Of Intelligent Video Monitoring System Based On WDS

This paper introduces a kind of designing scheme for intelligent video monitoring system based on WDS (Wireless Distribution System),including wireless monitoring terminal system, WDS and background monitoring PC system.The paper is started from an overall designing scheme and has made discussion and analysis about some solutions like the solutions of terminal hardware platform, video capture, wireless communications and intrusion detection. After the scheme is determined,the paper has carried a detailed introduction to the development platform structures of the whole system, including the system of the whole hardware platform, the building of the PC software development platform and the building of the embedded software development platform. Especially in embedded software development platform,which made a highlighted points about the customized of uboot, Linux Kernel and the File System and the software porting steps of Mjpg-Streamer software. After completing the whole platform, the paper has also designed a monitoring software based on QT development platform and OpenCV image processing library, the software is mainly used for intelligent video monitoring,which including the design of GUI,data communication and algorithm processing.As the video monitoring system use WDS to transmit video data and it also use a fusion algorithm based on background subtraction method and frame difference method to judge whether the invasion is happened or not, therefore,it is particularly suitable for the area that traditional wired monitoring can not be carried out, such as marine farms, oil fields, terminals and other areas, what’s more, it can also make an accurate alarm prompt when the intrusion object that is satisfied for the conditions in the case of unattended, so the system can meet most of the wireless monitoring requirements of the special conditions.
